We’ve got these little pocket cameras and a stash of film cassettes lying around, but we’ve never actually got round to using any of them. There are some proper little gems in there — you know, the sort where you can swap the lenses and everything. Well, and CP bought me one not long ago, too. Even all that wasn’t enough to finally get my arse in gear.
But then today, a wonderfully pink ritschratsch camera fell into my hands. That was it. I immediately needed a cassette. CP then fished out a film cutter for me. And then a developing reel for the Jobo tank, too. Just like that, I was absolutely on fire!
Luckily, we had guests coming over in the evening, so I promptly found the perfect victims for a few shots. The little pink treasure was still working—contacts clean, flash firing. So naturally, nothing stood in our way.
I’ll put it like this. It started with a glass of champagne. A little laptop that probably needed an update. And the rest of the evening then became, perhaps unfortunately for a weekday, a bit too much fun.
The film’s been developed, and we’ve concluded that this particular product wasn’t quite thought through to the end.
